Guyana's rich culture is a reflection of its diverse population and its colonial past. Made up of six ethnic groups Africans, Amerindians (Indigenous), Chinese, East Indians, Europeans and Portuguese. Other influences shaping the culture include Latin America, Dutch cultures and the Caribbean region.
